Question formulation and delivery

Welcome to the first webinar training series for site-visitors. This page has been designed to introduce new site reviewers to the APHEA processes and review ethos..

To continue we ask that you:

  1. Watch 3 short videos (circa 15 minutes in total)
  2. Complete simple exercises on your own
  3. Attend a short video conference with other reviewers.

The videos can be expanded and subtitles turned off in player. All videos are 1080 HD but may take a few seconds to load properly.

Training Outline

Prospective APHEA Site Visit Reviewers

To familiarize new site visitors to the APHEA site visit process in order that they are aware of how to approach the site visit process and ethos.

At the end of the exercise participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the process before and during the site visit
  2. Understand what is required from a site review
  3. Able to use documentation

Introduce new reviewers to the:

  1. Site Visit Processes
  2. Documentation required to run the processes
  3. Ethos of APHEA
  4. Self-test exercises to calibrate responses

Asynchronous (circa 15 minutes):
a. Watch small induction videos
b. Complete 4 exercises independently

Synchronous (circa 45 minutes):
a. Meet other reviewers and / or APHEA team for joint training session

No prescribed assessment is attached however, prospective reviewers will be asked to reflect on the self-test exercises and their responses and to raise any questions during the subsequent virtual meeting.

Informal evaluation requested as part of exercise (see top section).

Any comments on this web page will be taken into account by the secretariat and Chair of the Board of Accreditation.

Any recommendations for change in the process will be sent to the Board of Accreditation for review.

Changes in Criteria or Process will require, a) agreement by the Board of Accreditation, b) endorsement by the Board of Directors and c) ratification by the General Assembly.

Feedback will always be provided on changes made as a result of recommendations.
