Accredited Programmes |
The list below highlights those applicants either presently involved in or have accredited their programmes.
In 2013 APHEA began a review of their processes which culminated in September 2014 APHEA. Over 20 schools of public health took part in the review including the feedback from the reviewed programmes. The review finalised with the introduction of several changes:
- An increase from 5 years to 6 years accreditation period (this included the programmes which had previously undertaken the process).
- A commitment to increase transparency within the APHEA processes by including the executive summary of the Accreditation report on the website.
- Changes in the criteria and check points, including a review of the range of information requested.
- Possibilities for programmes to use National Accreditation information in the process to reduce workload.
- A separation and increased focus and review of the curricula through a Curriculum Validation process.
